Jennifer Rivas, OTR/L, MLD-C, CCST
Jennifer Rivas graduated with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Touro University in 2019. Jennifer is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist with 5 years of experience in multiple settings and a passion for optimizing healing and recovery. Jennifer has undergone additional training through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies to receive credentialing as a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. Jennifer has also undergone extensive training from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy, a premier educational institution for lymphatic studies to receive credentialing as a Certified Cosmetic Surgery Therapist. Jennifer applies her expertise and extensive training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to promote health and wellness in others as well as facilitate postoperative healing following plastic surgery.
In addition to her extensive training, Jennifer has also been personally trained by Celebrity Brazilian Lymphatic Therapist Tatiana Vianna in Los Angeles. Through this mentorship, Jennifer gained expertise in specialized post-op Brazilian lymphatic techniques, further enhancing her ability to support clients in their recovery process with advanced and refined methods.

I’m Jen Rivas, a Certified Cosmetic Surgery Therapist and Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy. My journey into post-op care began when I saw my sister undergo plastic surgery. I quickly realized that there is a significant gap in aftercare, where people often feel lost and unsure of what to do next. This experience inspired me to specialize in lymphatic drainage and post-op care, helping to guide others through what can be a mentally, physically, and emotionally taxing recovery process.
With 5 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist and nearly 2 years specializing in lymphatics, I have had the privilege of working with clients recovering from a variety of procedures, including tummy tucks, BBLs, liposuction, and more. My approach is holistic, offering not just post-op massages but a full continuation of care, including faja assessments, exercise recommendations, and nutritional advice.
What I love most about my work is nurturing my clients through their recovery journey. Plastic surgery is an exciting step towards achieving your ideal body image, but it can also be daunting.
